Managing metal waste effectively across the Wollongong coastal strip and broader Illawarra region requires a reliable, local solution. Flanked by the Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, commercial precincts from Port Kembla and Unanderra to trades in Dapto, Shellharbour and Albion Park Rail generate significant volumes of surplus metal. NSW Copper Recycling offers a direct scrap metal pickup service designed to clear unwanted metal waste promptly, safely and with total convenience.
On-Site Scrap Metal Removal Streamlined for coastal premises
Transporting heavy metal loads along the Princes Highway or up Bulli Pass involves unnecessary fuel costs, vehicle wear and lost productivity. Marine environments along the South Coast can also speed up corrosion on exposed metal piles, creating structural weaknesses, sharp edges and potential site hazards. Our mobile collection service addresses these issues by bringing custom transport directly to your site, taking care of all heavy lifting and loading so your team can focus on their day-to-day work.
Safety and environmental compliance guide every collection. Unchecked metal accumulations on trade premises, residential properties or industrial yards can restrict vehicle access and present workplace safety risks. Our experienced team follows established site procedures to secure and haul away your unwanted materials efficiently, keeping your site tidy and compliant.
Non-Ferrous Metals We Collect
We purchase, collect and reprocess a wide selection of non-ferrous materials from plumbing upgrades, electrical fit-outs, industrial operations and property clearouts across the Illawarra:
- Copper Scrap: Heavy copper busbars, clean copper tubing, bright copper wiring and hot water storage units.
- Insulated Cable & Wire: Industrial mains cabling, flexible power cords, automotive wiring and communication lines.
- Aluminium Materials: Marine-grade extrusions, window frames, ute tray offcuts, panelling and structural scrap.
- Brass Offcuts: Commercial valves, pump components, tapware and brass fittings.
- Lead Waste: Roof flashings, lead sheeting, counterweights and lead pipework.
